DJI Fly Keeps Deleting Imported Litchi Mission Hub Waypoint Missions Saved in my 128GB iPad

I vaguely recall describing this problem in the past here, but have forgotten when I made that post, so I decided to ask again why it is that on just one of my two iPads on which I use DJI Fly to fly my Air 3, my saved waypoint flights, all imported from the Mission Hub via cable with the Hub Bridge, mysteriously vanish after a few days of not doing any flying.

When the older 32 GB iPad began to act up with a “slide show” video feedback during DJI Fly Air 3 waypoint flights, I bought a newer iPad with 128GB that displays a buttery-smooth video feedback in DJI Fly.

The bizarre thing, though, is that while the saved waypoint flights are never deleted in the copy of DJI Fly that is on my older 32 GB iPad, all waypoint missions saved in DJI Fly on the newer 128GB iPad, which is ideal for DJI Fly flights due to its smooth video feedback during flights, keep getting deleted, forcing me to repeat the Hub Bridge import of saved waypoint flights each time I go to fly my Air 3.

Because the saved waypoint missions in my older iPad never get deleted, I began to wonder if there might be an obscure DJI Fly setting that I accidentally specified to delete all saved waypoint flights in the newer 128GB iPad, whenever it hasn’t been used with DJI Fly for a few days. If anyone is aware of such a setting, I would be grateful for a hint describing how I can reset it to prevent this auto-deletion of all saved waypoint flights that has now occurred twice in a row.

This is not a Litchi Mission Hub problem since there is no auto-deletion of imported Litchi waypoint flights in the older 32 GB iPad, but I am asking in this forum because it takes forever to get any answers when questions are asked in the DJI forum.

I use an iPad 11 Pro, 5th gen with the M4 chip. I haven’t had this issue so not sure why they are being removed from the DJI Fly waypoints folder. One thing is if you delete the DJI Fly app and reinstall it you will lose everything. I don’t know of any DJI Fly app setting to auto delete them. Very strange.

It is odd that those saved waypoint files were erased on one but not both of my iPads, twice in a row. Scrolling through my hundreds of saved waypoint flights in the Litchi Mission Hub to find and re-copy the Air 3 flights is time-consuming, and having to do that repeatedly has been exasperating.

I use my drones to scan the surrounding countryside for suspicious people, so I often need to launch a drone on short notice. Finding that all my Air 3-related files have been unexpectedly deleted and have to be recopied is a major hindrance that I hope I can resolve quickly, since the Air 3’s zoom makes it ideal for this surveillance task compared to my Mavic 2 Pro.
