Convert Geo Tiff to ASC II file for Dem Model import

I want to map a parcel of hunting land on a property with steep terrain slope; i dont think 30 meter DEM will deliver elevation updates soon enough to deliver a safe mapping mission

Is anybody willing to give me a step by step guide how to convert a 1 meter USGS Dem tiff file convert to ASC II grid that will work in Litchi

What is max file size Litchi will accept with DEM file import

i am not good with scripts and command line commands

Qgis method ?? I have played around with a few attempts but the progress loader in litchi just spins forever and nothing happens

I believe I have figured out how to add a 10 meter DEM to my flight mission

The dem seems to load smoothly as shown by the progress indicator when loading

once loading has completed the screen turns a white grey; if I scroll / zoom inward ward on the world map I am able to get back to my mapping mission route

is this white/grey screen senario normal or am I experiencing an error?

Thanks for any help you may offer!

After a successful import of a DEM, you should see a transparent blue area where the DEM is located. Example below.

Check this thread for instruction on how to produce the type of file the Hub expects: Using a DEM - I cannot get this to work - #4 by vico

Thank you! Much appreciated for your assistance

For anyone that wants to import elevation Dems / I have been taught how to do this in a simple and easy method using the free QGIS GUI. no command line converting

if you are interested; I will give you access to a screen recording video of the process
