No you can’t, if you want it on an IOS device you’ll have to buy the IOS version

Ok, but I think they would allow transfering the license somehow. I’m not trying to use both versions, I only want the iOS version. I bought the Android version by mistake a while ago. Thanks.

Is Litchi support seeing this?

Litchi’s FAQ states this:

10. I purchased the app on one device, can I install it on other devices?

You can install the app on as many devices as you want as long as they use the same platform and the same “main” account (Google, Apple or Amazon) that was used for the original purchase. If you wish to use Litchi on two or more platforms you will need to purchase it on each one.

However, depending on how long “a while ago” is, they may accommodate you. I have once heard that you can get a refund within 30 days of purchase. If this is the case, you might want to contact Litchi support through their email support@flylitchi.com

Asking Litchi to countenance a DIY conversion of their Android-specific version into an IOS version would be akin to asking your new inlaws whether the option to upgrade to a newer sleeker model would be available later if the need arose.

   nicely put, it will probably get the same reaction, must admit I don’t know how you accidentally download the wrong version, i mean the android version comes from the google play store and the Ios version comes from the other p[lace

i own an android phone and an ios device. i installed the android version but intended on flying with my ipad mini. how hard is that to understand? i assumed my purchase and license would be attached to an account/ id, not the install. there is no 'upgrade’ related to using the iOS version.

Sorry, but it seems that it’s easy for everyone here to understand except yourself. Have you never bought an app for your android device? Have you never bought an app for your ipad? If you had, you would immediately know that what you bought doesn’t work on the other device’s operating system and you’d have to buy it for the other device’s operating system if you wanted it, or a similar app, on both…

Let’s bring it down a notch and be nice to everyone. Randy has been given the Litchi support email address. There is no point in arguing about it any longer here.

Thanks Wes! People here have been acting like turds and as if they have shares in the company or something.

My warning was meant for everyone. We will not tolerate name calling in this forum. This thread is now closed.
