Cannot adjust flight speed with RC stick in waypoint

It’s not supported yet for drones that use the DJI Fly app.

You can however add waypoints with a different speed to the mission.

Adjust cruising speed with right stick

I’ve read and viewed several places that the right stick is supposed to be able to adjust the speed, higher or lower, of the cruising speed. I have not been able to get that to work, despite following tutorials. I am able to manually control yaw and gimbal pitch, though, when so set. It is the same in reality and the simulator mode. I’m running v4.20.0-g on Android, controlling Air2s and Mini2
