Can you minimize the litchi app during waypoint missions?

I want to be able to browse the internet during missions, receive phone calls etc. I wonder when I switch apps on the phone (without closing litchi) does the waypoint mission abort/stop or what happens?

I have already received phone calls which I answered and Litchi continued the mapping.
