I recently acquired a Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual (M2ED), which infamously does not allow taking photos in RAW format through the DJI Pilot app, only jpeg. Other Mavic 2 drones do support it and back when the DJI Go 4 app still connected to M2ED, then that app allowed switching to RAW capture.
My question before buying Litchi is this: can Litchi unlock taking photos in RAW format on Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual? I can find no mention of this online and would not like to spend the money, if it doesn’t do that.
We too have a M2DE and the Android smartphone running DJI Pilot gave up the ghost. Attempting to install DJI Pilot APK, the install is blocked by Google Play even when using several methods to work around and approve.
So before we spend hours more and US$27, does Litchi continue to support the old Mavic Dual camera and Mavic 2 Enterprise platform?
We went to an old Samsung smartphone and did NOT use the “Files” app by Google, instead used the Samsung file manager. This allowed the old DJI Pilot app to install after acknowledging the DJI Pilot app as an “unknown app”. This is the 2018 version of the app! So we are restoring function on this M2DE, but looking at more function and Litchi may well have that!
In general DJI locks these things down at firmware level, feel free to purchase the app to try it and get a refund if it does not meet your needs (within the google play store refund window)
