Seeking to create some unusual imagery, I constructed a spider’s web-shaped waypoint flight centered around a single POI Point of Interest, which entails the drone crossing its own flight path multiple times in numerous directions.
Virtually all of my previously created Litchi waypoint flights rarely included any overlap of the inbound and outbound legs of the mission, so I decided to show this intended flight to the experts before I send my Mavic 1 Pro out to make the flight. My question is, therefore, whether there is any risk that the drone may become disoriented if it is programmed to follow a course that repeatedly crisscrosses airspace in which numerous waypoints have been defined both before and after the drone’s current location.
The confirmation that I hope to hear is that the drone will faithfully follow the numerical sequence of all waypoints in every mission, regardless of how many times the flight path doubles back over itself in rapid succession. Any thoughts on this question that can be shared would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
