I’m using the M4P with rc2 pro. Can these way point mission file names be renamed to whatever you like? I am having a bit of trouble finding the files I need to replace/use.
The “name” of a mission and the “filename” of a mission are two separate things. In order to import a KMZ file into DJI Fly, you must copy and use the existing “filename” of the mission. The filename is actually a GUID (or UUID) which is a globally unique identifier commonly used in databases.
Once imported, you may “name” (rename) the mission to be anything you want using the DJI Fly application.
In order to find the correct “filename” (GUID) to replace, you can either sort by date or check the corresponding “cover” images of the waypoint missions on the RC2.
I did try sort by date, that doesn’t work for some reason. What worked was sort by modified…? Also, I do not see an image on the RC2 Pro, it looks like a blank white piece of paper. I’ll have to mess with some settings to see if I can get that to work.
If you are navigating with Windows and you are displaying folder contents as “Details”, you will simply need to click on the column header called “Modified” to sort the items.
I have complete instructions here:
