What is the latest firmware for the GL300C ver. B Remote Controller
What is the latest firmware for the Phantom 4 Advanced
I have read that the legacy firmware 1.3.509 is a desired firmware for the Phantom 4 Advanced. However, I have been unable to find a BIN copy of 1.3.509.
The firmware for my Phantom 4 Advanced is currently 1.00.0128.
I am running Litchi on Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
Any tips on getting my Phantom 4 Advanced updated and linked to Litchi would be appreciated.
Using the DJI Assistant 2 for Phantom software I was able to verify that the firmware for my Phantom 4 Advanced is 01.00.01.28
I am unable to get my DJI Assistant 2 for Phantom (Windows V2.0.10), or DJI Assistant 2, or DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Series), or the Android DJI Go 4 App to recognize my GL300C ver. B Remote Controller.
I did find the *.bin file for RC firmware 01.04.03.00 on the DJI website, but it states that it is for a GL300E remote controller, and I have a GL300C.
Prior to a month or so ago, my drone, controller and DJI Go 4 app worked well together.
Currently, my RC is linked to my drone (solid green light on the RC and the drone). I can use the RC to move the camera in a vertical direction, but that is about it. Drone motors will not start using the RC.
Thanks for pointing out that the 1.3.509 firmware is for the Phantom 4 Pro. I had misread an article.
Currently I would like to know which software to use to verify (or refresh) the firmware on my GL300C ver.B Remote Controller.
Or, it might be easier to purchase a GL300E RC. Thoughts…recommendations?
This tells me you don’t have a software (firmware) problem, but a hardware problem.
The USB-A port on Phantom remote controllers is well known for having so called “dry/cold/cracked solder joints” that need reflowing.
Under magnification I checked the joints on the USB-A outlet. The joints appeared to be okay, but I adjusted the tabs on the USB-A female connector that hold the USB-A male connector firmly in place. And, boom-bada-bing, I had a connection to DJI GO 4. Not the app I wanted to use, but TMRW, (today) I am going to attempt to link to Litchi.
