area still in ha

Hi all,

although I changed the unit to m or km, the area still in ha, is there a way to calcualte the area in km2/m2 ???

Devide by 100 for km2

Multiply with 10.000 for m2

1ha is 100x100m

I know the calculation, but I was meaning changing the unit in the hub, not calculating manually.

For metric, we show m² for small areas, ha for medium areas, and km² for very large areas

you are right. but for people using metric system, we still need to convert the to km2 to understand the area. you could display both unit as ha/km2(m2). if it is not requiring too much dev work. this would help easily understand the area.

No we don’t.
Hectare (ha) is a metric unit, so is hectometer (hm).
Besides that, just imagine the decimal point 2 places to the left, which is hardly a conversion.
