I have used LITCHI for a number of flights over a few years and it still is my favorite app to do autonomous flights. In the latest “news and updates” there was a valid question about the danger of some obstacles like power lines etc. And rightly so it was pointed out that this is not a LITCHI issue but rather the avoidance systems running in the drone/controller. One way of mitigating this could be to fly a bit higher and by doing so hope that the drone will pass over these lines much more safely….
However my “Keep in mind” topic is something that I’m encountering more and more when I fly my drones is the increasing bird attacks (or attempting attacks)! There is not much one can do about this or even plan for but just keep it in mind when you plan a flight path where you have no visual sight of your drone. Lately I fly more “visual” and when I notice birds I am ready to take manual control to try and avoid an attack to at least save my drone!
