I have been using a DJI RM500 Smartcontroller with a Mavic 2 Pro and Litchi for some time with no issues. I was not using a microSD card in the controller until yesterday when I did insert a Sandisk MicroSD and selected to use the new SD card as the default storage location on the controller.
Once the controller restarted, I was able to use DJI Go4, Map Pilot Pro, but when I tried Litchi, both my orbit missions and waypoint missions which were previously saved were gone. I use orbit missions daily capturing construction progress in a repeatable pattern at bridge construction sites.
I went to Litchi General settings and tried to sync local missions and nothing changed, I also tried Check and Sync License and nothing changed there either.
Any ideas how to get the missions back?
I know from experience that if I uninstall and reinstall the Litchi app, I will lose the Orbit missions. It is frustrating that the orbit missions will not move from device to device like waypoint mission settings will.
“Orbit Mission” are only saved on the flying device. “Waypoint Mission” are stored on Litchi’s servers (in the cloud).
Go to Litchi’s Mission Hub and see if your waypoint missions are still there. If they are, make sure that your Smart Controller is connected to the internet and that you are logged into the same Litchi account. Waypoint missions will automatically sync between your flying device and the Mission Hub when the above two conditions are met.
For the “Orbit Missions”, set your storage location back to internal and see if they become available again.
I expected to see both Orbit Missions and Waypoint Missions after adding the memory card, because both were present and had been used on the Smart Controller before adding the card. I understand the Litchi limitation with Orbit missions that they only reside on the device they are created on.
The Missions are on the Mission Hub, the Smart Controller is connected to the internet, and logged into the same account and the waypoint missions are not present. Nothing is syncing.
When I remove the SD card, both waypoint missions and orbit missions are there and work fine.
Is there no way to add the memory card and copy the Litchi information to the directory on the memory card to allow the missions to be available
