I found the post I was referencing earlier about the Mavic 3 Enterprise supposedly using mission onboarding as opposed to VSC. I’d love to have this confirmed in a few places and I would make my move and purchased the new drone.
SDK V5 however does support the previous drones, as other 3rd party software that i use with my mini2 has just been updated to support the M3E and the M30
4.2.0 - 11/15/22
Added support for new drones:
- M30
- Mavic 3 Enterprise
Perhaps I’m reading this incorrectly but the documentation implies that SDKs v4 and v5 support different drones.
Here are the release notes for v4:

Here are the release notes for v5:

I don’t see any mention of the older drones in v5.
@wesbarris , here are the full release notes that I quoted from Dronelink Release Notes - Google Sheets and guys are succesfully flying M3E with it as am i my mini2
SDK v5 only supports M3E, M30 and M300 and therefore requires a different app. It is not compatible with older drones.
I’m not sure how to interpret what you pasted into Google Sheets. From everything I’ve read about the new SDK v5, it is not compatible with the previous SDK v4 and they do not support the same drones.
Here is a statement from DJI about the compatibility between the two (v4 and v5):
All I can say @wesbarris is that the guys at Dronelink have issued an App that you can fly both the M3E etc and Mini2 etc with
2 different apps can be made to look the same and have same UI, but they are still different apps! The point being that the new sdk does not work with older drones
Thank you very much for your prompt and accurate reply!
I wish you a great day ahead!
Correct me if I’m wrong.
I was flying a mission on the mini 3 pro using litchi pilot and lost signal so the drone performed RTH.
Then I found this post and learned about VSC. I saw the video explaining the difference between VSC and native Waypoint. By the way, @Ola_Bergvall excellent video!!
I bought a mini 4 pro to test the native waypoint and now I can fly further without losing signals, this is good but I noticed a problem with the difference in speed between the Waypoints.
The problem is explained in this video:
Now I have jerky movements because of the speed, regardless of whether the speed is fast or slow.
That video is a very good analysis of how defining different speeds at each waypoint will be executed. Litchi’s behavior would be virtually the same.
My suggestion would be to set a relatively slow mission speed in the global settings and don’t set any alternate speeds at the waypoints (unless they are only subtle changes from the global speed). Doing so will result in smoother flights and video.
Thanks for the shoutout!
