# Unable to set Gimbal Pitch in Area Mapping

Missing an option to set the Gimbal Pitch to point straight down in Area Mapping. This should be the default in a mapping mission, but when I run Simulation of a mapping mission the Gimbal points straight ahead.

This was also noted in a recent post in the General Discussions

This is a display bug which will be fixed shortly. It should only affect the simulation in Litchi Hub for the DJI Fly app. In the actual flight it should still point down

This bug should be fixed now
