I have a use case that would ideally require creating a 5-6 photograph waypoint “template”. The Template and waypoints would not be locked to any specific GPS location, but rather referenced to the current position of the drone. The idea would be to fly the drone manually and execute the template of waypoints / photos relative to the starting location of the drone. An example would be a quadrant pattern of waypoints centered on the starting location of the drone (maybe like a POI based on drone’s initial location). The use case is repetitive inspections of power poles - hundreds of them - that require repeated pattern positioning of the drone and camera pointing for each pole top that eliminates manual flying / positioning at each pole.
