A recent post mentioned that it is no longer necessary to place a “Wait for” camera action before a “Take photo” camera action. I can no longer find that post but I’m guessing it was for Litchi Pilot only.
I have just performed some tests using an Air 2S with the Litchi app running on an iPad with the drone less than 200 ft away. The following sequence of camera actions failed:
- Rotate Drone
- Take Photo
- Rotate Drone
- Take Photo (photo not captured until after step 5)
- Tilt Camera (the photo in step 4 was captured after the camera tilted)
- Rotate Drone
- Take photo
This sequence correctly captured all photos:
- Rotate Drone
- Take Photo
- Rotate Drone
- Tilt Camera
- Take Photo
If the change to make camera actions more robust was made in Litchi Pilot, it would be nice to eventually see that change in the regular Litchi app at some point.
