Hi everyone, This is my first post and I’d be grateful for any help you can give me to achieve a similar sequence as this famous locomotion study by Eadweard Muybridge. It seems to be impossible to do this with the standard DJI app - in ‘follow’ mode where sequence photography isn’t available - I am limited to single shot. I want to use myself as the model and have the drone fly alongside me taking shots at intervals of 1/2 - 1 sec. Is this possible with the Litchi app or is there another way of doing this? Also, it would be nice to have a sequence of DNG’s, the current app only allows 1 shot every 5 sec. The best that the DJI app offers is 1 jpeg shot every 2 sec.
I suppose DJI was not expecting users to use their drones for
odd purposes such as this, and so they did not add this function.
However, you can fly along next to yourself and record a video in 4k 60 fps,
then in Davinci Resolve or similar video software,
you can break the entire video into individual frames and use each frame as a separate photo.
Great idea Dave, and I might try shooting at 24fps to get a little blur - for purposes of decorum! Many thanks.
