Litchi Pilot Beta will not install on Galaxy A3 smart phone with Android 8.0.

I have successfully installed the same APK on other android phones. My intention is to use this older android phone solely with my drone. Installation appears to go okay and completes about 80% before getting the message “app not installed”.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Android 8 maybe too early for litchi pilot

I understood that android 5 or later would suffice. Is that incorrect?

That’s correct for the Litchi app.
I’m not sure about the Litchi Pilot app, but it runs on Android 8.
Also Litchi runs on 32 bit systems, Litchi Pilot does NOT, it needs a 64 bit system.
Also having only 1GB of RAM could be a problem.
