Litchi Hub Version?

How can I tell which version of Litchi Hub I have? It was a free download a few days ago and I run it on a Windows PC. I’m thinking it’s an older version as Google Earth won’t load on the simulator. As a basic waypoint flight path editor it works great but only with basic Google maps. I only want to use it on a desktop PC to create missions from my office not to fly a drone. Is there a later version I can download/buy? Thanks

Litchi Hub is not a downloadable program. It’s strictly a web-based program.

Perhaps you are asking about the Litchi Bridge?

I guess I didn’t understand that it was only a web-based program, thought it was resident on my CPU. But still, why doesn’t Google Earth work in the simulator? Thanks

A screenshot of what you see would help diagnose the issue.
Litchi Hub is a web application available at hub.flylitchi.com
You can install the web application to make it behave like an app, but underneath it’s just your browser loading the web app without the standard browser UI.

I would also check that you have hardware acceleration enabled in your browser settings.

Here’s how to enable hardware acceleration in Google Chrome (on Windows, macOS, or Linux):

  1. Open Chrome Settings

    • Click the three dots ⋮ (top-right corner).

    • Go to Settings.

  2. Go to System settings

    • In the left menu, select System.

    • Alternatively, you can go directly by typing this in the address bar and pressing Enter:

      chrome://settings/system

  3. Enable Hardware Acceleration

    • Turn on the switch next to:

      “Use graphics acceleration when available”

  4. Restart Chrome

    • Click Relaunch when prompted, or manually close and reopen Chrome.

I got Litchi Hub and Bridge from “hub.flylitchi.com” but didn’t realize they were only links, acted like resident programs. It all makes sense now and the Hardware Acceleration did the trick. They are great programs and I like creating and editing missions on a big screen PC rather than the RC2. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain and the instruction on hardware acceleraiton.
