Litchi and Mini 3 with rc

I have recently purchased a Mini 3 and the new rc to go with it.

Is there a way the Litchi app can be used with the rc and not the phone?

The question is often asked when Litchi will support either the Mavic 3 or the Mini 3 Pro.
