With manual installation of a KMZ file into the RCPro2, the map on the controller does not display any waypoints even after executing the flight and resaving on the controller. Is this normal behavior? I feel like it is blind faith that the correct file is loaded, making me very hesitant to use KMZ files created with the HUB. I am new to Litchi and unsure how it normally operates. I also used the beta version to create and save the KMZ file for my Mavic 4 Pro, if that makes a difference. Any help you can offer is appreciated.
No, that is not normal. If the KMZ file from the Mission Hub was properly loaded you would see the mission in DJI Fly. The easiest way to do this is with the Mission Hub Bridge installed.
Thanks for the speedy reply. It appears that the file did load it just did not center on the map in the correct position.
Yes. I wish DJI Fly was better about centering the mission on the display when opened.
No, DJI won’t automatically center the map on your mission.
You have to locate the mission area on the map yourself.
Once you open the mission and view your waypoints, zoom out on the map and pan around until you find your flight path; then, zoom in a bit to frame the view properly. Finally, exit the mission to return to the mission list—it will ask if you want to save it, so select “yes,” and you will then see a thumbnail image next to the mission name.
