Samsung S20 are not supported, they have broken MTP software built-in. OnePlus 12 should work in theory though we have not tested it. Make sure your USB cable is data-capable, and check your USB port too.
Having spoken with Technical Support, I managed to solve the issue - I hadn’t created a dummy mission in DJI fly. Once that was done file transfer worked (On OnePlus phone)
I have been testing some practice waypoint missions using my Mini 5 Pro and the RC2 controller. All missions have been created in Litchi Hub and simulated in the Litchi Hub.
This morning I got the chance to try the first two tests and they were very nice.
One thing I am a little confused about is how these waypoint missions show up in the waypoint missions menu in the RC2 controller.
After the first upload I got a Litchi thumbnail with the associated mission title. From that point on, even though I have been checking the uploaded missions in the controller (by confirming the correct number of waypoints in that particular mission) the title has remained the dummy DJI mission (that I created first and then overwrote) and the thumbnail now stays as the one generated by the RC2 controller.
I wondered if anyone could think of a reason for this. Also, does anyone know if it is possible to rename a waypoint mission on the RC2 controller please?

Here are a couple of screenshots to show the various (wrong) thumbnails and missing titles.
On the RC 2 (or better: in DJI Fly):
-Every time you open a mission, then exit with “Save and Exit”, a new thumbnail is created using a screen dump from the current/last view.
-You rename a mission by clicking the pencil icon right next the mission name.

I’ll give this a try, thanks. I had tried using the pencil next to the name but couldn’t get it to work for some reason, I was also confused why the original test mission brought over the name and the thumbnail during the export and I didn’t need to mess with changing the name etc, myself.

Follow step 2 in the guide to the letter (dummy creation), then the Litchi preview image will transfer correctly: [GUIDE] How to use Litchi Hub with DJI Fly / SkyRover
DJI Fly has a cache for preview images, once it caches its image (upon loading the flight in DJI Fly), it’s impossible for Litchi to change it. Name and date do not transfer on android.
If you’re on iPhone or iPad, you will have none of these issues.
There’s definitely something weird about this process, because last night I spent time renaming the flights (on the controller) to what I wanted and then saved each as I did it. Went out this morning to test two new missions and the names in the mission list (on the RC2) have lost all the work I did on naming yesterday and reverted to the original auto-generated names for two of them, but left the other two untouched (only one of those shows the Litchi Thumbnail).
There’s probably something in my method that is throwing it off, I will go review the tutorials again and see if I can see what I am getting wrong.

I have always agreed with this issue and is why I also set to “Straight“. Without the ability to fly “straight“ you loose the ability to fly in precise mapped patterns. With “curves“ you always have the unknown quantity of not knowing when the drone will attempt to veer into an on-coming tree branch or veer out over a road, when you were trying to avoid that very thing. Flying with straight precise waypoints makes sure that doesn’t happen.
But I agree with your summary that it’s very annoying to have the drone stop every time it changes direction to the next waypoint. It’s also very annoying that some of the features like “orbit“ or “spiral” are not available to us if we are flying with the default of “straight“.
Does it need to fly at the altitude of the starting point? Or does it adjust to the ground height?

When using DJI Fly, you can manually specify the starting waypoint. There is no automatic restart at last waypoint like there is in Litchi Pilot.
DJI’s WPML language supports both distance and timed intervals. However, DJI’s implementation does not support those features in waypoint flights.
