What is the current status of this? Have DJI updated the SDK?

Yes. I saw that. This seemed to be reported initially as an intermittent problem. If that’s the case, somebody reporting that they no longer have the problem doesn’t necessarily mean there has been a permanent fix. I was wondering if there had been any info from DJI, who said they were going to fix it.

For anyone else following, I guess it’s this.

Beta Build 545 - September 24, 2025

  • In Follow mode, Follow Terrain is now disabled by default on devices without a pressure sensor (e.g. tablets)

  • Optimizations for Area Mapping flights

  • Fixed video stream issues on the DJI Mini 3

  • Fixed an issue where Orbit flights could end prematurely in some cases

  • Fixed an issue where the drone could sometimes slow down unexpectedly during Orbit flights
