AOI - Area of Interest; as a supplement to POI. Camera on closest point of the area.

As mentioned in the title, I have always wanted a POI method that lets me draw a line/box/area (like waypoints for example).
The drone should then always point its camera at the point of the “line” that is closest.

I would have an enormous number of use cases for this. You can solve it without, but that is usually more effort and then also some trail and error, until it works as you imagine it.

You mean something like Spotlight mode in DJI Fly?
Yep! That would be interesting to see!

I didn’t know the mode yet, but something like that yes.

I would definitely prefer to mark on the map instead of in the camera view. And also larger objects that would not always have to be completely in the picture.
